Dr. Sonja Legtmann
Managing Partner, EXG Consulting
Dr. Sonja Legtmann is the founder and managing partner of EXG. She has been working in corporate finance for more than 20 years and has successfully supported numerous company sales and acquisitions in the DACH region and internationally. Thanks to her many years of experience in mergers and acquisitions in the ICT industry, she has a special understanding of value drivers and market participants in the technology and services environment, as well as established contacts with ICT companies and investors.
A particular focus of her work is supporting shareholders of owner-managed technology companies in the implementation of growth strategies, including through mergers with strategic partners or the sale of shares to investors.
Dr. Sonja Legtmann studied business administration and economics and worked for international investment and private banks in London, Vienna, and Munich, as well as a partner in a venture capital company and an IPO consultant. She initiated fund concepts, supervised numerous technology investments, and was a member of various supervisory boards of portfolio and group companies. Most recently, she was co-founder and managing director of a corporate finance consultancy in the ITC sector.
Her working languages are German, English, French, and Spanish. She is co-initiator and Regional Director Europe, Middle East & Africa of ICFN International Corporate Finance Network.

Bernd Huber
Senior Associate EXG Consulting
Bernd Huber is a Senior Associate in the M&A department and has been with EXG since 2024. Prior to this, he gained practical experience in the investment team of an investment company, in M&A boutiques, and in an international corporate and management consultancy.
Bernd Huber completed his first state law examination at the University of Regensburg and successfully passed his second state law examination at the Higher Regional Court of Nuremberg. He also studied business administration at the University of St. Gallen. Bernd Huber gained additional international experience during an internship at a law firm in Miami, USA.
During his studies, Bernd Huber was a scholarship holder of the Max Weber Program within the framework of the German National Academic Foundation. He was also repeatedly awarded the Germany Scholarship at the University of Regensburg.
His working languages are German and English.

Dr. Michael Hirt
HIRT&FRIENDS, Austria
Dr. Michael Hirt is an independent consultant for corporate finance and corporate development issues. He is the founder and managing director of HIRT&FRIENDS, an independent management consultancy, and director of the Austrian Institute for Management Innovation. Dr. Hirt advises on strategy definition, post-merger integrations, and the execution of M&A transactions.
He has excellent contacts with Austrian SMEs and international corporations.
Dr. Hirt has published numerous articles on management and corporate finance topics and has taught as a guest lecturer at several leading universities. Before working as an independent consultant, speaker, and management book author, he worked for HSBC Investment Bank, as a corporate finance expert at the state-owned industrial holding/privatization agency ÖIAG, and as a strategy and management consultant at BCG.

Aitor Arteaga
BAUM Partners, Spain
Aitor Arteaga is a lawyer and co-founder and managing director of BAUM Partners. BAUM Partners is a corporate finance/M&A consulting and law firm based in San Sebastian with a branch office in Madrid. The firm focuses on assisting medium-sized companies with legal and corporate finance issues.
His main areas of expertise are advising on (cross-border) M&A projects, setting up foreign branches, and corporate finance. He is also a member of the board of several industrial companies.
Before founding BAUM Partners, he worked for various law firms and advised numerous owner-managed companies on legal issues, including succession matters. He was a speaker and accredited advisor to public institutions in the Basque Country.
Mr. Arteaga holds a law degree from UPV and a master’s degree in law and tax consulting.

Andrew Heitner
Alcon Partners, Miami, USA
Andrew Heitner is the founder and managing director of Alcon Partners, with offices in Miami, Boston, and Vermont. Alcon Partners assists private equity firms and M&A departments of large companies in sourcing and evaluating acquisition opportunities (buy-side M&A advisory). Andrew Heitner is also the owner of Alcon Technology Consulting, Inc., a telecommunications company based in Boston.
Mr. Heitner was previously co-founder of New Frontiers Information Corporation (NFIC), a digital content management software company that was later sold to Banta Corporation (now RR Donnelley NYSE:RRD).
Following the sale, Andrew Heitner served for many years as Director of Banta Integrated Media. Mr. Heitner is a board member of the MIT Enterprise Forum of South Florida, a member of the Investment Committee of the Miami Children’s Hospital Board of Directors, and a member of the Executive Council of MPE Partners. He has taught entrepreneurship at the University of Miami School of Business and is a judge in the Leigh M. Rothschild Business Plan Competition.
Mr. Heitner holds investments in several young companies, including angel investments in several start-ups. Andrew Heitner holds a BS and MS degree in mechanical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

The Factor & Ros team consists of experienced advisors and partners with excellent know-how and an extensive M&A track record in various industries in the Netherlands and internationally.
Before founding Factor & Ros in 2012, Bas Brusche started his M&A career at a Dutch M&A boutique. Bas holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Erasmus University / Rotterdam School of Management.

Marina Alberti is the managing director of Studio Alberti, an auditing and tax consulting firm based in Bolzano. In addition to advising national and international companies on tax, legal, and financial matters, she is also involved in corporate and project financing as well as M&A transactions.
She also assists German and Austrian companies in particular with their entry into the Italian market.

Daniel Rivera is a founding partner of Elit Capital, an M&A consulting firm based in Sao Paolo with a branch office in Miami. Daniel Rivera has many years of experience in M&A transactions through his work at Petrobas and Ernst & Young.
Mr. Rivera has been involved in major transactions in Brazil as well as international M&A processes in Europe, Saudi Arabia, and Central and South America. He also has particular experience in the ITC environment, where he has worked for many years as a consultant and project manager in the implementation of ERP, reporting, and BI software. Anne Kössler was most recently Head of Sales Modern Workplace Public Sector/Automotive at Microsoft.
As Manager of Business Development & Alliances at Einstone (Osram), she developed new business models for location-based services (strategy, go-to-market, sales model, and alliances).
Previously, she held various management positions in sales and business development at Kathrein Werke, Intel Corporation, and IXOS.
Anne Kössler comes from a family of entrepreneurs in the field of electronic components, has a degree in business administration, and combines entrepreneurial passion with many years of management experience in technology companies.

Michael Schuster
Management Consultant
Michael Schuster has many years of experience in the development and sales of B2B standard software and the implementation of IoT concepts in the production environment. He provides support in the evaluation and further development of business models in the B2B software environment from both a technological and a sales perspective. Michael Schuster was a co-partner and managing director of GIB GmbH in Siegen.
GIB, which focused on SCM and big data management based on SAP, was sold to the ifm group, a global player in the field of sensors, following a merger with a company in the technical infrastructure solutions sector. The transaction resulted in the creation of a subsidiary focused on the implementation of Industry 4.0 solutions, with Michael Schuster as CEO.
Mr. Schuster has been a member of the supervisory board and advisory board of ifm Solutions since 2017. Michael Schuster is also active as a management consultant.
Michael Schuster holds a degree in mathematics from the University of Siegen.
