Dr. Michael Hirt is an independent Corporate Finance and Corporate Development Advisor. He is the founder and Managing Director of HIRT&FRIENDS, a management consultancy business and Director of the Austrian Institute for Management Innovation. Dr. Hirt advises on strategy development, post-merger integration and M&A transactions.

Dr. Michael Hirt has published numerous articles on Management and Corporate Finance subjects and was a guest lecturer at numerous well-renowned universities. Before working as an independent advisor, speaker and writer on management topics he worked for HSBC Investment Bank, as Corporate Finance Expert for the state-owned industrial group/ privatisation agency ÖIAG and as a strategy and management consultant for BCG.
