Dr. Sonja Legtmann
Managing Director/Founder
Dr. Sonja Legtmann is the founder and managing director of EXG. She has worked in Corporate Finance for more than 20 years and has realised a large number of company sales and acquisitions in Germany and internationally. Based on her extensive M&A experience in the ICT industry she has specific knowledge of the value drivers and market players in the technology and services sector and can draw on her relationships with ICT companies and investors.
Her main focus is on advising the shareholders of owner-managed ICT companies in realising their growth strategies mainly through the sale of a shareholding or the business to a strategic partner or to a financial investor.
Dr. Sonja Legtmann has a degree in Business Administration and PhD in Economic Sciences. She has worked for international investment and private banks in London, Vienna and Munich, was a managing partner of a Venture Capital company and has advised on numerous IPOs. Dr. Sonja Legtmann has initiated fund concepts, managed several investments in technology companies and was a member of the board of portfolio and group companies. Most recently she was the co-founder and managing director of a corporate finance consultancy firm.
Her working languages are German, English, French and Spanish. She is co-founder and Member of the Steering Committee of ICFN International Corporate Finance Network.
Where relevant, EXG Consulting works with its associated / network partners drawing on their longstanding experience in strategy development / due diligence / post-merger integration or their own entrepreneurial and management experience in the ICT industry.
